Starting the VMRS project
The project entitled “VENDOR MANAGEMENT AND RATING SYSTEM” was developing under Client-Server technology using PHP as front end and MySQL as back end.
Vendor system is a major system in the (Integrated Material Management System). IMMS is designed to meet the production requirement. It includes the total material management functions (Including the MRP module), Production planning, Shop Floor Control, Integrated billing and HR functions.
The existing system is loaded with discrepancies, to overcome those discrepancies, a Vendor and rating system is implemented. The vendor development department of R&D uses Vendor system. The system keep the data about the different items and their suppliers as well as agents. More efficient and user-friendly. Using this vendor system, can develop Vendor Rating Reports. There are four levels of users using this system. Clerical users, Query users, Supervisory/Managerial users, Documentation department.
